Terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products through seiko-mod.shop. By placing an order on this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.

Products & Nature of Goods

All products sold on this website are custom-made watches, assembled individually per order.

  • Our watches are not affiliated with, manufactured by, or endorsed by any luxury or trademarked brands.
  • Product designs may be inspired by classic or vintage styles, but no product is represented as a branded or luxury item.
  • Each watch is built using components clearly described on the product page, including case material, bracelet type, and movement (e.g. Seiko automatic movement).

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and accepts the custom-built nature of the product.


Product Representation & Expectations

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that:

  • product descriptions are accurate,
  • photos represent the actual product,
  • materials and specifications are clearly stated.

Minor variations in appearance, finishing, or visual perception do not constitute a defect and are inherent to custom-made products.

Subjective dissatisfaction, including but not limited to opinions on quality, weight, finish, or aesthetic impression, does not qualify as a product defect or misrepresentation.


Orders & Payment

  • All orders must be paid in full before production and shipment.
  • Once an order is placed, it cannot be modified or canceled, as production begins shortly after payment confirmation.

No Returns, No Refunds (Custom Products)

Due to the custom-made nature of our products, the following conditions apply:

  • All sales are final
  • No returns or exchanges are accepted
  • No refunds will be issued

This applies to:

  • dissatisfaction with appearance or quality,
  • change of mind,
  • gifts,
  • failure to meet personal expectations.


Shipping & Delivery

  • Shipping is performed using third-party carriers.
  • Estimated delivery times are provided for reference only and are not guaranteed.
  • Shipping costs, including express delivery, are non-refundable once the order has been shipped.

Once the shipment is handed over to the carrier and tracking information is provided, the seller’s delivery obligations are considered fulfilled.


Customs, Import Duties & Taxes

International shipments may be subject to:

  • customs inspections,
  • import duties,
  • taxes,
  • additional documentation requirements.

Customs clearance is the sole responsibility of the recipient/importer.


The seller:

  • does not control customs authorities,
  • cannot influence clearance decisions,
  • cannot complete customs procedures on behalf of the recipient.


Failure or refusal by the recipient to:

  • clear customs,
  • pay import duties or taxes,
  • provide required documentation,
  • may result in the shipment being delayed, abandoned, returned, or destroyed by customs authorities.

Such situations do not qualify for refunds, chargebacks, or order cancellations.


Lost, Abandoned, or Destroyed Shipments

The seller is not responsible for shipments that are:

  • abandoned due to non-payment of customs fees,
  • destroyed by customs authorities,
  • returned due to recipient inaction.

In such cases, the order is considered fulfilled, and no refund will be issued.


Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By completing a purchase, the customer agrees not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute for reasons including but not limited to:

  • subjective dissatisfaction,
  • failure to clear customs,
  • delays caused by customs or carriers,
  • refusal to accept delivery.

Any chargeback initiated in violation of these Terms may be contested with the payment provider using all available documentation.


Warranty & Liability

  • Watches are tested before shipment.
  • We do not offer a warranty covering damage caused by misuse, impact, water exposure beyond stated limits, or unauthorized repairs.
  • The seller shall not be held liable for:
  • indirect or consequential damages,
  • loss of use,
  • loss of value due to personal expectations.


Limitation of Liability

The seller’s total liability, under any circumstance, shall not exceed the total amount paid for the product, excluding shipping costs.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with applicable international e-commerce principles, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

How do preorders work?

A pre-order is an order placed for an item that hasn’t been released or is not currently in stock. They’re shipped to the customer once available. Pre-orders allow customers to order products before they are available.


Can I change or cancel my order?

Our customers have 24 hours to change/cancel an order.

Please contact us immediately by email: [email protected] ; if you need to make any changes or cancel your order.

For order canceling we charge additional fee 35 USD per each order.

If more than 24 hours have passed, due business specification we cannot issue order cancel/change, as all of our products are exclusively on pre-order - we order all the necessary spare parts for each client individually.

Watches with express delivery - delivery can not be canceled, because we ship them ASAP.


How can I track my order?

Once your order has shipped, you will receive tracking information via email. If you haven’t received an email, please contact us and we will resend you the tracking information.


What should I do if my tracking number is not working?

New tracking numbers usually take about 24 hours to activate from the time you receive your shipping confirmation. If it’s been more than 24 hours and your tracking number still isn’t working, contact us and we’ll help ensure you get your package!


If you want a refund for your own reasons?

If parcel not shipped, we can make refund with charge 35$ (payment gateway fee).


SHIPPING


When will I receive my order?

We ship within 35 business days after placing an order.

Delivery takes about 30 business days, all depends covid-19 situation in your country and post office workload.


Will I need to pay taxes and duties?

Import duties and taxes are not included in the price. These charges are buyers responsibility. Your local government may charge VAT and/or customs duties. If the customer does not clears customs - there are no returns or refunds


If parcel lost?

If after 90 business days after parcel shipped you didn’t get it, we can ship new one or make refund.


If you entered an incorrect delivery address

We do not provide refund.


If you did not pick up the parcel from the post office

We do not provide refund.

If you did not do not pay taxes to receive the parcel

We do not provide refund.

Warranty

We do not provide any warranty.

If in the future customers break, smash or drown the watch - we can sell necessary spare parts or customers can send the watch to our watchmaker - the customer pays for shipping in both directions and the cost of spare parts.

What is Seiko Mod Shop?

Seiko Mod Shop is one of the world's leading service companies for the customization and personalization of Seiko watches. An experienced team of specialists transforms from the bracelet to the dial - according to individual customer requirements. All our designs have Seiko automatic or quartz movements inside. Also upon request, we can discuss any other modifications and an individual movement.

Modification process?

The manufacturing process of a Seiko Mods is complex and requires great attention to detail. First, the basic watch to be modified must be chosen, along with the parts that will be used to customize the design. Modifications can include changes to dials, bezels, bracelets, crowns, indexes, cases and even movements to make in unique. All depends from customer choice.

The only thing that will always be in our watches is Seiko movements.

Custom Watches/Cases/Dials/Hands?

We have own factory and verified partners. We are absolutely not limited by anything any idea can be realized. We can make also your Own brand watches from zero.
